Consultants at Health HR Group have worked on a wide variety of projects for many leading provincial and national health care organizations.
For many projects, we have conducted labour market research and analysis for specific health professions.
At the same time, we have helped clients translate the results of labour market research and analysis into human resources strategies and action plans.
In other instances, we have provided project management services supporting large, complex national HR studies.
Finally, we have undertaken projects aimed at helping clients evaluate the effectiveness of their health HR programs and initiatives.
Canadian Partnership Against Cancer
Health HR Group was retained by the Canadian Partnership Against Cancer (CPAC) to provide program director services for HHR action group, resulting in a comprehensive action plan for health HR in cancer care.
AbbVie Canada
HHR Group was retained by AbbVie Canada to develop a health system-wide model of care for the elimination of HCV in Prince Edward Island to support the introduction of new medical therapies, From Medication to Model of Care: A New Hepatitis C Management Strategy for Prince Edward Island.
Council of the Federation-Health Care Innovation Working Group
HHR Group was retained by Health Care Innovation Working Group (Council of the Federation) to provide policy analysis and project management services to support the inaugural report, From Innovation to Action: The First Report of the Health Care innovation Working Group.
Department of Health and Wellness
HHR Group was retained by the Department of Health and Wellness of the Government of PEI to conduct an evaluation of physician payment methods to understand costs of health service delivery under different modalities.
Canadian Pharmacists Association
Health HR Group was retained by the Canadian Pharmacists Association (CPHA) to conduct an evaluation of Diabetes for the Pharmacists’ National Strategy, in which pharmacists provided patient education to assist Canadians in managing their diabetes.
Canadian Association of Provincial Cancer Agencies
Health HR Group was retained by the Public Health Agency of Canada and Canadian Association of Provincial Cancer Agencies to undertake a pan-Canadian study of the cancer control workforce, consisting of the identification of 83 occupations across the cancer continuum. The purpose of the project was to highlight the human resource issues and challenges facing cancer care.
Association of Canadian Academic Healthcare Organizations
Health HR Group was hired by Association of Canadian Academic Healthcare Organizations (ACAHO) to provide project management services for a national study of the changing role of academic health science centres in Canada. As part of this assignment, Health HR Group coordinated a national symposium on academic health science centres involving 125 national and international stakeholders.
Canadian Association of Occupational Therapists
Health HR Group was retained by the Canadian Association of Occupational Therapists (CAOT) to develop a framework for integrating internationally-trained occupational therapists into the Canadian workforce.
Task Force Two
Health HR Group was retained by Task Force Two, a consortium of the Canadian Medical Association, the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons and the College of Family Physicians of Canada, as project managers for a national study on physician human resources.
Canadian Nurses Association
Health HR Group was retained by the Canadian Nurses Association to provide project management services for a national human resource analysis of the nursing workforce in Canada.
Canadian Post M.D. Education Registry (CAPER)
We were hired by the Canadian Post M.D. Education Registry (CAPER) to complete an environmental scan of international medical graduates (IMGs) in Canada: Informing our capacity to integrate international medical graduates.
Registered Psychiatric Nurses of Canada (RPNC)
We were commissioned by the Registered Psychiatric Nurses of Canada (RPNC) as project managers for the Mobility and Assessment of Canadian and Internationally Educated Psychiatric Nurses. We also conducted an environmental scan of the enablers and challenges to the mobility and assessment of Registered Psychiatric Nurses.
Canadian Council for Practical Nurse Regulators
We were hired by the Canadian Council for Practical Nurse Regulators to developing a three-year strategic plan and governance structure for the Council.
